Welcome to Life At Zero Development Initiative

Life At Zero Development Initiative is a Not-For-Profit and Registered South Sudan's NGO number 1681 created in 2009 to give  a helping hand at grassroots to orphans and unaccompanied minors in the Republic of South Sudan and other parts of the world in need.
In The City of Yambio, Western Equatoria State, as well as in other cities/towns in the entire Republic of South Sudan like many other former affected war zone countries around the world, there are many helpless orphans and unaccompanied minors resulting from a long war between the Republic of South Sudan and The Republic of Sudan which ended in 2005 and lead to a divorced between the two countries, HIV/AIDS and the Lord's Resistance Army Rebels of Uganda live a Life At Zero. Our goal is to provide these orphans and unaccompanied minors the resources and guidance they need to raise themselves for a better future. We seek to help in meeting their needs throughout by providing loving, stable environments and education at the grassroots, so that they may grow up to be people that have a positive aspect in The Republic of South Sudan and the world.

Our mandate is to achieve this organically by giving the residents ownership of their own projects. Our modes operating entail is always seeking a team of volunteers and donors to help in (eg: Spiritual Needs, Agriculture, Clean Water, Basic Education, and Basic Healthcare System etc) who is willing to support & listen to the challenges these orphans and unaccompanied minors faces on a daily bases and guide them to solutions that they can truly take pride in for their future.
